Breakfast bowls became a trend so fast ! they are easy, tasty and healthy. and everybody is creating their own recipes, so I came up with this recipe inspired by a gelato I had months ago.

2 frozen bananas
1/2 cup milk
3 Medjool Dates
Handful of walnuts or pecans
3 tsp cocoa powder

1.using a blender
(sometimes I say food processor, but this time you need to use a blender, I will explain why later in a blog post all about it) add all the ingredients. blend until smooth and basically you have it!

2. pour it in a bowl (that's why it's called breakfast bowl :p) and get creative with decorating, -make sure it's good for Instagram :p-

When you make it tomorrow morning make sure to send me a picture ;)

Top Tips for Successful Cooking

I thought today of sharing with you some top tips for successful cooking, which hopefully will help you to develop :D

1. Have a clean place.
It is very important have a clean place whilst cooking, as you don't want to be falling over unwashed plates and having a whole mess, I make a lot of mess when I cook -ask my mom!- so it's a must for me to have a clean surface.

2. preparation.
Think about everything you could need before you start and get it out first. whether it's an ingredient or a tool. preparation makes a huge difference,

3. Make small portions.
If you are trying a recipe for the first time and you  have no idea how would it taste, make a small portion first and try it. this will help you not to end up with uneaten food!

4. Have Fun.
Cooking is a way of stress relieving, so make sure to enjoy and  have fun the next time you cook ;)

5. Use alternatives.
It's not the end of the world if you don't have cake flour for example, all purpose flour can always do the job.

6. Don't be afraid to get creative.
When you're reading the ingredients for a recipe and find an ingredient that you don't like or have, don't hesitate to change it as your liking ;)

7. Always ask for help.
If you ever find it hard to do something, just ask for help.

8. Always follow the rules.
When the recipe says preheat the oven, preheat it. things that must be in room temperature, make sure that they are, and so on.

9. Start with the hardest.
When there are so many steps in the recipe, start with the hardest or the most complicated.

10. Never give up.
Try and try until you become professional, and never give up.

Morning Gathering

Earlier today I had some of my friend over, so I thought of showing you the food I served them.

I started with  homemade no machine ice cream. it's very easy and all you need to make it is whipping cream and condensed milk -one package of each-

start with whipping your cream until you reach soft peaks, then add the condensed milk and mix again till it's nice and light and fluffy.
Now the base is ready, it is very important that the cream and the condensed milk are really cold, so make sure that you put them in the fridge 24 hours before you make it.

Now,you can make any flavour you want.
For my ice cream I added  berry jam, and few drops of strawberry extract, -which you can find anywhere-

After adding the flavours, stir it a bit until it's totally mixed.

Put your ice cream in a container and freeze it for at least  six hours before you're able to eat it.

As well as Tea and Pastry

For the dessert I made red velvet cake, and to be totally honest with you I made it using a cake mix. personally I think -for the red velvet- it's better to make it using a cake mix.
I also served it in a unique way!

Hope you enjoyed!

Turkish Dinner | Episode 3

Yesterday I had dinner with my family in Turkish restaurant called "Kôsèbàśį"which is all about Turkish grills.
we quite like tha Turkish food and the Turkish culture and everything Turkish  , so we were so excited t try it, and it was so good as we expected it.

Starting with the appetizers, we had Humus and aubergine with yoghurt.
they were so good and delicious.

Also as good culinary service, they brought us bread and olives and pickles along with the dishes we ordered.

The Main Course

Yoghurt Kebap
My second favourite Turkish food ever!
This dish was supposed to feed 3 people, who were me and my two sisters, I loved it so so much, and it was soooo good! (highly recommended !)

- and for those who don't know this dish, it's basically, grilled meat, yoghurt, toasted bread, and tomato sauce-

The rest of the dishes weren't mine, but i thought of showing you everything ;)

This is basically mixed grills, served with cooked groats.

small grilled pieces of meat.

For drinks I had mint lemonade as always and it was so good

Overall Rating : it was a quiet, nice restaurant, beautiful decorations, nice  staff and I loved it a lot basically.
